Lands & Forests Consulting has our own provincially certified tree marking crews that mark forests to Ontario tree marking standards. We inspect your woodlot with you to develop marking prescriptions that meet your objectives. Woodlot boundary areas and access trails are established. All trees that are marked are tallied and volumes are recorded to help you make accurate management decisions and to ensure that you receive a fair market price for your timber. Your timber can be advertised to over 100 buyers throughout Ontario. County by-law information is provided. Harvest supervision is recommended to ensure that operations are accomplished in an environmentally friendly manner. Upon completion of your harvest you will receive an evaluation of harvest activities. Lands & Forests Consulting takes the time to provide satisfaction and peace of mind.

Timber values, real estate appraisals, wildlife, insect & disease identification. Forestry values will be established using sample plots on a per stand basis. From this, detailed information can be gathered to determine species composition, volumes, stand health and other information to help you gain a better understanding of your property and its value.

Lands & Forests Consulting seeks to know and understand the personal goals and objectives of each landowner. These are then used as a basis to develop a management plan to help the landowner accomplish wildlife and environmental goals and potential returns from wood products.


Our management plans are formatted in a way that will allow you to qualify for the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program. This program intitles the landowner to a major property tax reduction.

Planting trees for future generations for habitat & humanity. Our staff will inspect your property and make recommendations on tree species and quantity for your planting project. We will also research any available incentive programs to aid in funding your tree-planting project. Trees Ontario may subsidize your tree planting. Your payment could be as little as 15¢/tree for the tree purchase, planting and tending. (minimum acreage is required)
